travel & leisure: recap of my luxury staycation at Live! Casino & Hotel
Last month I was invited to spend the weekend at the luxury casino and hotel by Live! Casino & Hotel with my husband and we were both very excited for a little getaway just the two of us. You guys know I love traveling so of course, I said yes!
The was our itinerary:

Upon arriving at the hotel, we checked into our Deluxe King room with a spacious layout and an oversized walk-in tiled shower and closet.
“Art should be seen in unexpected places”
As an art enthusiast, I couldn’t help but noticed all of the beautiful, one-of-a-kind artwork collection displayed throughout the hotel—from the lobby to the elevators—they instantly made me so happy!
The Hotel

Dinner at The Prime Rib at Live!
After we settled in we headed down to The Prime Rib restaurant for a romantic dinner for two. The Prime Rib®, the Baltimore region’s Zagat-rated #1 steakhouse. Lead by Chef Eric Littlejohn, the Prime Rib locally sourced freshest seafood and best USDA cut beef and so as you can imagine, I was looking forward to a relaxing, romantic dinner.
But before we could even take a bite of our dinner I had red wine spilled all over me and the restaurant staff and manager were so kind as to pack our dinners to go. After dinner in our room, we changed and went downstairs to the Live! Casino Event Center to see Howie!

There’s also a patio off the main dining hall with a retractable roof that is perfect for happy hours, elegant dinner receptions and group dining events… including these amazing features….

Howie Mandel Live!
After dinner in our room, we changed and went downstairs to the Live! Casino Event Center to see Howie!
Seeing Howie perform was surreal and a dream come true because we genuinely love him and watch him every week on AGT! He was very funny, there were so many people at the show and the energy in the room was incredible! The Live! Casino Events Center is a large auditorium big enough to host headliner shows from entertainment to poker tournaments to corporate meetings.
After the show, I met up with the Casino! Instagram Giveaway winner then we hit the casino floor for to play the slots, grab some drinks, and check-out all the amazing restaurants and bars on the property! (congrats again, Cari!)
Brunch at David’s
The next day we went to David’s restaurant at Live! Casino & Hotel for breakfast. We ordered David’s signature buttermilk pancakes, fresh fruit and bacon and was absolutely delicious!
David’s restaurant décor is just as luxurious as the hotel and lobby. I was immediately drawn to the dark wood floors, tiled columns accented by the warmth of the bar and the service was top notch.
LIVE! SPA!
Later in the afternoon, I went up to the luxurious spa for my spa massage appointment. The Live! Spa has a variety of massage therapies, body polishes, body wraps, and advanced skincare and anti-aging treatments.

I highly recommend the Live! signature massage—it was 50 minutes of pure relaxation and let me tell you, I’ve been to quite a few spas in my life and this experience by far surpassed any other spa experiences I’ve ever had!
I had such a wonderful time getting to spend the weekend with my husband as we explored Live!, laughed at the show, dined at the eclectic David’s restaurant and romantic The Prime Rib, and enjoyed the spa.
Overall, I this was an amazing experience, staying in the King Deluxe room with its beautiful oversized walk in shower with floor to ceiling marble tiles and spacious closets was absolutely incredible. I loved all of the luxury amenities of the hotel and casino, and the Live! Spa was seriously what I needed!! The Spa staff was incredible, professional, friendly, and helpful!
