Happy Monday, mamas! This post is so overdue which got me thinking about how we, mamas, do so much for our family but we reserve so little time for ourselves (and if you’re a mommy blogger, very little time for blogging!). So I’m hoping you won’t judge me because I was supposed to post this a long time ago! You know what they say: better late than never!

Anyway, this summer was my first time shopping the NSALE. I have to be honest: I couldn’t find any clothes that really caught my eye. Maybe because I shop at Nordstrom year-round, I don’t know, but I just didn’t find anything that I was absolutely in LOVE with and had to have/add to my fall wardrobe. Mentally it was so hard to shop fall trends / outfits / items when it was 90 degrees out in July! The thought of buying knee high boots, sweaters, and coats made me even hotter! Haha…anyway, the only thing I saw that I LOVE were these leopard print Halogen mule from Nordstrom.

Here’s a little secret (also why I delayed sharing this post), I shot a completely different outfit from this oversized maxi off-shoulder dress, but it just didn’t feel right. So I had to reshoot this look to be more reflective of my everyday elevated #casualstyle am b/c on any given day you’ll find me in a maxi oversized dress! {Stay true to who you are!} …I have been wearing animal prints since forever, like in this post and this post… it’s the perfect nuetral!
