Sunday Styled Dinner at 48 Fields

If you have been following my journey here on the blog, then you know that mommy time / mommy off duty time for me are far and in between. Managing my very busy full time working mom life with a preschooler can get stressful, which is why once in a while, I get together with fellow creatives to learn about photography and be inspired by their work.
And last Sunday, on what was a BEAUTIFUL afternoon just minutes outside of Washington, DC, set in Virginia’s wine country, at an elegant and rustic wedding venue was where I spent the most exciting evening with some creatives from the Rising Tide Society (RTS), Together Tuesday local Leesburg group. The reason? An intimate styled dinner event at 48 Fields Farm. It was such a beautiful setting and the perfect opportunity to enjoy each other’s company, swap creative stories, learn from one another through shared interest. {The Rising Tide Society is an amazing group built on the idea that we are better together and we can succeed as a community of creatives, to come together!}, and you know I’m all about that!
Before we sat down to enjoy the seven course dinner, we spent a few minutes chatting and networking with each other, taking selfies/pics, snapping photos of the venue, tablescapes, meeting and mingling with new and old friends. {I was delighted to see my friend Jof (Joffoto.com), thanks for the photos and met his gorgeous wife, Riza Marie, blogger at Mommy in Pink) blog—hey, guys!} Of course, naturally, we started talking about our kids who are around the same age. I can’t wait to get the kids together for play date. {Ah, motherhood, I can’t escape it and I’m not complaining!}
The styled dinner boasted a delicious, gourmet tasting experience by chef Aaron, some wine, and amazing floral adorned tablescapes. There was even a DIY photo booth with props, which I was too busy obsessing and swooning over the beautiful tablescapes and venue that I didn’t get a picture in the booth!
The salad was my favorite with a delicious taste of the watermelon, vinaigrette, feta cheese is just amazing; it was light, fragrant, and crisp. Yum! I will post all the BTS photos soon so stay tuned!
