These days you can find me outside my home potting and planting all sorts of colorful plants, flowers, and trees. Lately the weather has being so unpredictable here in Northern Virginia that it has made it a challenge to decorate my outdoor patio space because I don’t want everything to get wet or blown away by winds. I have a vision in mind and know exactly how I’d like to decorate to fit our family’s outdoor living style. We’re all about relaxing in our Adirondack chairs around the outdoor fireplace, roasting s’mores, hotdogs, grilling steaks / chicken / veggies. Oh-my-yum! {BTW, it’s #NationalEatYourVegetableDay} …and now I’m hungry!
I truly love the idea of bringing the indoor décor to the outdoors! I’m talking colorful, weather-resistant throw pillows, blankets for evening snuggle around the fireplace, a bar cart / serving station for beverages and snacks, comfy straw handmade outdoor rug, beautiful solar lighting, and colorful accessories. So far though all I have done was setup my potting station. If you follow me on social media you KNOW I love me some flowers. Naturally I had to create a potting station where I can plant seedlings / transplant / pot my houseplants to my heart’s content. Worry not, friends, I promise to share the full reveal when it all comes together, but I couldn’t wait to share these sneak peeks!
My forever muse is always around the corner to join in on my creative + styling fun; obviously, she’s the best subject in these images! So friends, if you ever wonder what I’m up to, well now you know–out back getting my planting on! For more of my outdoor living spaces inspiration, check-out ACB Outdoor Living board on PINTEREST.
Have a fantastic weekend! Remember to LAUGH, laughter is healing, free + contagious!
