Today, we’re kicking off a week  full of all sorts of Valentine’s Day series content that we’ve been working on behind the scenes. We’ve got content from where to buy flowers for your Valentine (local readers), to accessories and gift inspiration/ideas, to coupon codes, to an all pink inspired outfit perfect for a casual date night out or in.

To get started, I’d like to share our mommy and me Valentine’s Day Pink Obsession styling+play session from a couple of weeks ago. Like most of my creative projects that I create/style, it started with an inspiration –the scarf you see on Little A, and from there it just took on a life of its own. After about twenty minutes, I transformed my office/STUDIO into a magical pink wonderland. The hardest part was telling myself to stop, it was so hard to stop because it just made me so happy! I have been literally obsessed with pink lately so this was definitely satisfying my pink obsession. Overall, this project was so much fun, especially for my Little A, whom hours after we were done shooting + playing continued to “style and shoot” her own vignettes. She’s so adorable and was just so happy getting to play with so many of my props AND in her favorite color: pink!

Keeping kids entertained in the winter months is challenging because they can’t really go to the playground when its 30 degrees out, so this was a fun way for both us to bond, play dress up, laugh and giggle, take pictures and hangout w/our doggies! I had a blast and I can’t wait to do another one soon, especially after she asked me to do it again!
