My love affair with plants continues as I recently went into one of my favorite places to shop for plants, Lowe’s Home Improvement store. This time I was in luck…because I hit the mother load and scored on some house plants and an assortment of succulent planters. The BEST part about these plants were that they were priced at such a bargain–$5.75 each that I couldn’t help but buy as much as I could. (One of the planters originally went for $22.99 and one was $39.99 even!). I absolutely love succulents because they are drought tolerant when established in a porous soil and even better with adequate drainage. The best way to keep them alive is to only water when the soil is dry to the touch, but never let soil dry out completely, and they don’t like frost just part sun.

After getting home I couldn’t wait to style them, but first I had to make sure they were cleaned, potted, and sprayed down with bug protection to keep any bugs off them before bringing them inside the house. I mean if you follow me on Instagram you know that my home is overflowing with plants. I literally have no space left for anymore plants, but just had to get these because they were such a great buy and were in such great condition, too.
