By now you all know how we feel about our weekends… and this weekend is no different, but sometimes mommy duty calls…oh, wait, that’s like every day! This weekend Little A was invited to two birthday parties, which she couldn’t wait to attend and I’ll be honest I was not ready for how hectic my Saturday afternoon was going to be—in a good way, of course. Thankfully, my new Dolce Vita suede boots via Nordstrom helped me jaunt around in style.

Finding something to wear while party hopping with a five-year-old can be tricky, especially in November. This is what I came up with… sweater and top are from H&M, scarf and new Dolce Vita suede boots from Nordstrom Rack, bag is from Ross, and boyfriend jeans from Target.
First party was for my fellow creative friends’ little boy who turned 6 and it was at a bowling alley. That was super fun because Little A has never been bowling before. At first it was a challenge to get to get her to understand how it works, but once she got the hang of it, she was happy to take turns rolling the ball down the alley. Second party was her classmate and it was at a bounce house (same one she had her birthday party), she had a blast seeing all her friends from school. And I had a blast watching her have fun, make new friends and memories.
