Another week has started and with each new day, I vow to myself to be the best person that I can be regardless of the challenges of that day. Oftentimes I succeed and oftentimes I don’t, and that’s quite alright because I’m not perfect I’m a human being.
To better myself I often disconnect from the world around me {not from being mommy, of course, b/c that’s truly my happy + inspirational place. And I couldn’t even if I wanted to}; instead I turn to books to find support and encouragement, and to learn something new.
A few weeks ago, I picked up the book, How Successful People Think, by #1 New York Times Bestselling author, John C. Maxwell. In it he writes about how to change your thinking and change your life. I have learned so much in the first few chapters that I wanted to share some of his key practices to changing your thinking in order to change your life.
“It’s hard to overstate the value of changing your thinking. Good thinking can do many things for you: generate revenue, solve problems, and create opportunities. It can take you to a whole new level–personally and professionally. It can change your life.”
According to Maxwell, below are some things to know about changing your thinking.
1. Changed thinking is not automatic
2. Changed thinking is difficult
3. Changed thinking is worth the investment
How to become a better thinker:

--Formula to help you stretch your thoughts--
The Right Thought plus the Right People in the Right Environment at the Right Time for the Right Reason=the Right Result

Now all of these mighy not apply to you, but it’s always nice to know and be equipped with life-changing knowledge because you never know when you might need. Please feel free to share with someone who might need this information.
